The Ko Lipe Island Guide

The Andaman Sea Island of Koh Lipe (sometimes spelled Ko Lipe) is a relatively unexplored paradise that is only 30 kilometres from Langkawi, Malaysia and 60 kilometres from the Thai mainland. It is one of more than fifty islands that make up the Adang archipelago and is the most southern island in Thailand. This tiny island, which can be found in the Andaman Sea, is renowned for its stunning beaches, clean waters, and relaxed attitude. The island is covered in lush flora, has lovely quiet sandy beaches, and is encircled by tranquil, crystal-clear turquoise water, making it the ideal location for diving and snorkelling. The Tarutao National Marine Park, one of the first National Parks established in Thailand in 1974, borders Koh Lipe, therefore it should come as no surprise. The ideal island escape is Koh Lipe (Ko Lipe), which is less accessible than some other well-known islands in Thailand and less congested than Phuket and Koh Phi Phi. Location: Koh Lipe is a small island in Satun Province, Southern Thailand.
