09 · FAQs

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers about this holiday before you book.

Yes. Dubai sits roughly halfway between the UK and South East Asia, so a stop there breaks up the long-haul journey before you continue to Singapore and then Bali. The trip moves from desert and skyline to a modern city and then to beaches and temples, with all flights and transfers arranged in one booking.

There is no single month when all three are at their best. Dubai is most comfortable from around November to March, Bali's drier season generally runs from about April to October, and Singapore is warm and humid all year, with heavier rain more likely from around November to January. April and October are often a good compromise.

Non-stop flights from Singapore to Bali take roughly two and a half to three hours, which is why Singapore and Bali holidays are such an easy city-and-beach combination. The flight is included in this package.

Non-stop flights take around seven hours. Singapore is four hours ahead of Dubai, so an overnight or late-evening flight is a common choice.

They offer very different holidays, which is why they work so well together. Singapore is a compact, modern city known for Marina Bay, Gardens by the Bay and its hawker centres. Bali is about beaches, temples and slower days, from Seminyak to the cliffs at Uluwatu. This trip gives you two nights in Singapore and three in Bali.

Rules differ in each country for British citizens on a full UK passport. You can usually get a visit visa on arrival in the UAE. Singapore needs no visa for a short visit, but you must complete the free SG Arrival Card in the three days before you arrive. Indonesia requires a visa, available on arrival for 30 days or online in advance, plus the All Indonesia arrival card and the Bali tourist levy. Check GOV.UK before you book and again before you travel.

Two to three nights is enough to see the highlights of Dubai and of Singapore, while Bali is where most travellers want extra time to relax. Our consultants can add nights to any stop on your Dubai, Singapore and Bali package and arrange departures from regional UK airports such as Manchester, where supplements may apply.

Dubai uses the UAE dirham (AED), Singapore the Singapore dollar (SGD) and Bali the Indonesian rupiah (IDR). Cards are widely accepted in Dubai and Singapore, but carry some rupiah for smaller shops, markets and taxis in Bali.

The full-day tour visits Uluwatu Temple on the clifftops of southern Bali and Suluban Beach, and ends with the Kecak Fire Dance performed at sunset.

Travel advice can change quickly. Check the FCDO advice for the UAE on GOV.UK before booking and again before you travel, and our consultants can talk you through your options.
