Get a quick look at your holiday experience
Palma de Mallorca has some of the stunning beaches in Spain, with crystal-clear waters and beautiful sand. The island's capital, Palma, is a "must-see" on every trip to Majorca. Enjoy vermouth in one of the Old Town's outstanding cafes or stroll through its winding lanes. Explore some of the city's most important landmarks, like the Bellver Castle or the Military Museum of San Carlos, as well as lesser-known sights, like the magnificent Caves of Genova, which are located in the Genova neighbourhood at a short distance from Palma's centre.

Discover your day-by-day holiday flow
Drive down wild paths to find hidden treasures. (Soller, Sa Calobra, Torrent de Pareis and Mirador Es Colomer / Cap de Formentor)
Get in your rental car early in the morning and go to Soller in the island's northwestern corner. But make a point of going further north for the rest of the day. Soller is a classic Mediterranean village with tiny streets, cafes, and restaurants, and it also boasts a port, Port de Soller, worth seeing. The harbour and town were relatively calm, but we could envision both bustling with tourists in the summer.
From Soller, travel to Torrent de Pareis, a secret beach and a spectacular gorge. Drive down the 13-kilometre-long Sa Calobra Road. Sa Calobra is one of the most beautiful roads in the world, or at the very least, a must-do in Mallorca.
You can begin your walk along Sa Calobra's first little beach. After a short walk, you will enter a tunnel to access the spectacular Torrent de Pareis gorge and beach. (The tunnel has excellent floor lighting.) Enjoy your lunch break by the beach while admiring the scenery!
Drive to Mirador Es Colomer and Cap de Formentor, two of France's most beautiful places. Continue north to the well-known viewpoint of Mirador Es Colomer. It's windy, so make sure you're wearing your hat.
If you have some more time before nightfall, return the way you came. Turn left at Mirador Es Colomer and drive higher up. Mirador Es Colomer has an antique watchtower from which you can observe the entire Bay of Biscay peninsula.
Discover the charming villages
After breakfast, travel to Valldemossa. This little settlement is located in the valley of the Tramontane mountains to the west of the island. The magnificence of the setting will leave you stunned, and you will undoubtedly take too many photos of doorways decked with beautiful plants and flowers. This village will become one of your favourites after seeing it; don't miss it.
After that, continue to Deia, another picturesque village to the north of Valldemossa. Similarly, the village is lovely and well worth exploring. You may also drive down to its beach, Cala Deia, if you dare - you will not regret it.
Seek out gorgeous bays and beaches
A 'beach road trip' is recommended after exploring the beauty of Mallorca's northwestern districts. The magnificent beaches and bays to the island's southeast should not be missed. To visit the famous Es Pontas natural arch, go to Cala S'Almonia and Cala Santany. Spend a bit more time enjoying the coastal breeze and sunshine. Move ahead to Cala Figuera for lunch before continuing north to Cala d'Or, Cala Ferrera, and Cala Sa Nau. The weather is pleasant during the off-season, but not warm enough to swim! So, stroll around these beaches and bays.
Departure
It is your time to bid farewell to Palma de Mallorca.
Happy journey!
Day 1
Welcome to Palma de Mallorca; explore Palma's capital city
Arrive at your accommodation, eat breakfast, and start your adventure freshly. Discover the city's old town. You will undoubtedly fall in love with Palma's small streets. Explore the tree-lined road of Passeig des Born's high-end boutiques, bars, and restaurants. In the heart of Placa de Cort, you'll inevitably come upon a well-photographed antique olive tree - Olivera de Cort.
The cathedral de Mallorca is the primary attraction in Palma. Go around the area, snap pictures, and enjoy the well-deserved sunshine.
Don't squander your time after the exploration. Shop on Passeig del Born. Take a stroll down Passeig des Born, a tree-lined street in Barcelona. It's lined with beautiful shops where you can buy local favourites, souvenirs like Mallorca's famous Palmaira sandals or pottery, and some higher-end designer businesses.
