Rome in the Roman Agora of Smyrna
The prosperous metropolis we see today was modelled after this piece of the old city that has been unearthed. The site's showpiece is the rebuilt "arcade" of Roman archways, which provides a view into what it may have been like to stroll through an actual Roman city. However, the entire location offers an intriguing look into history.
Eat on Gazi Kadınlar Sokagı
This street, called "Gazi Kadnlar" but officially identified on the signs as Street Number 1453, is situated in the trendy Alsancak district. Along with some of Izmir's liveliest cafes directly across the street, you'll discover rows of fish eateries with vibrant seats outdoors on the sidewalk. Along the street, there are places which have some of Turkey's top live music performers.
Take a Stroll Down Kordon
Walking the famous promenade in Izmir, which stretches along the Aegean coast for 5–6 kilometres from Konak Pier to Alsancak Train Station, is mandatory. Check out the Izmir clock tower at Konak Square, snap some pictures, and visit one of the many seafood restaurants and cafés that line the seafront.
Wildlife Park
To save the local wild creatures, Izmir Wildlife Park was created in 1948. In this park, the creatures have been divided into ten categories based on their geographic distribution and rate of extinction. It is a stunning location with many creatures, including giraffes, horses, zebras, kangaroos, elephants, and horses. In addition, there are many more species in the region, making it a lovely natural setting ideal for the family.
Konak Square
In the Konak neighbourhood of Izmir, Konak Square is a bustling square that serves as a gathering place for residents and visitors. It is home to several well-known sights, including the stunning Yah Mosque and Konak Clock Tower. Some of the most excellent cafés and restaurants are found there, and well-known government buildings flank it.
Key Museum
The Key Museum, which opened its doors in Izmir in 2015, is the largest museum of vintage automobiles and motorcycles in Turkey and provides insight into the development of the automobile. The museum's primary collection comprises 76 vintage automobiles and 40 classic motorbikes. From the first automobile made in 1886 until the present, you may view the first models of Mercedes, BMW, Porsche, Cadillac, and Ford in this collection.
