Luang Prabang – Pak Ou Caves
Begin the day with a 328-step walk to Mount Phousi, which offers a breathtaking panorama of the Mekong River and Luang Prabang. Continue to Wat Mai, one of the city's largest and most visible temples, followed by the National Museum (former Royal Palace), which celebrates Laos' rich royal past. After lunch, board a Mekong River cruise to the Pak Ou Caves, which contain hundreds of gold-lacquered Buddha images left by Buddhist pilgrims. During the drive, stop at a rural community to learn about Laotian handicrafts and traditional rice whisky making. On the way back, stop by Ban Xang Khong, a community famed for its handcrafted silk weaving and Saa paper production. Finish the day in the Luang Prabang Night Market, where people sell handcrafted goods, textiles, and street food.
Luang Prabang – Kuang Si Waterfall
Wake up early to experience Tak Bat, the traditional almsgiving ritual where hundreds of saffron-robed monks walk the streets collecting offerings. Then, visit the bustling Morning Market, where you may purchase local cuisines, drinks, handicrafts, and fresh fruit. Continue to Wat Xieng Thong, often known as the "Temple of the Golden City," a marvel of Laotian architecture. Visit the Traditional Arts and Ethnology Centre, which celebrates the cultures of Laos' ethnic minorities, and Wat Visoun, the city's holiest temple, which houses the That Pathum (Watermelon Stupa). In the afternoon, drive to Kuang Si Waterfall, stopping in Ban Na Oune, a traditional Hmong community. Enjoy the gorgeous cascades, take a soothing bath, and pay a visit to the Tat Kuang Si Bear Rescue Centre.

Luang Prabang – Flight to Vientiane
Spend the morning unwinding before departing for Vientiane from Luang Prabang Airport. When you arrive, your guide will accompany you to your hotel, and you will have the rest of the day free to explore at your leisure.
Vientiane City Exploration
Begin your city tour at Wat Sisaket, Vientiane's oldest temple and home to hundreds of Buddha images. Continue to Wat Prakeo, the former royal temple of the Lao dynasty, to visit the famed Emerald Buddha. Take shots at the Patuxai Monument, Vientiane's own Arc de Triomphe, before continuing on to That Luang Stupa, Laos' most sacred structure. In the afternoon, drive to the Buddha Park, where hundreds of Buddhist and Hindu sculptures are displayed. On the return journey, visit Carol Cassidy’s Weaving Studio to learn about traditional Lao silk weaving. End the day by browsing the lively Anouvong Park Street Night Market.
Vientiane – Flight to Pakse – Tadlo
Fly from Vientiane to Pakse, where your guide will greet you on arrival. Travel to Saravanh Province via Tateng Village, stopping to witness villagers make tea and coffee. Continue to the Bolaven Plateau and see the breathtaking Tad Fan Waterfall. Learn about the traditional ways of life of the Alak, Nge, and Katu ethnic groups by visiting their villages at Tad Lo Waterfall. If time allows, drive up to Phou Salao to see the Big Buddha at Wat Phonethong before returning to Pakse.
Pakse – Wat Phou – Khong Island
After breakfast, head to Champasak District to view the UNESCO-listed Wat Phou Temple Complex, an ancient Khmer archaeological site that predates Angkor Wat. Continue south to the 4000 Islands region, which contains Khong Island, a peaceful retreat. The rest of the day is open for you to unwind and explore at your leisure.
Khong Island – Khone Island & Waterfalls
Take a local boat cruise to Don Khone Island, where you may explore by bicycle or foot. Explore the ruins of the French colonial past and marvel at Liphi Waterfall, popularly known as the "Corridor of the Devil." There's also the chance to visit Don Det, a beautiful island nearby. Later, return to the mainland at Ban Nakasang fishing town, then drive south to Khone Phapheng Falls, Southeast Asia's greatest waterfall by volume.
Khong Island – Pakse – Departure
Spend a relaxing morning on Khong Island, admiring the tranquil vistas of the Mekong River or explore the island at your leisure. You may choose to take one last stroll through the hamlet, socialise with the locals, or simply relax at your hotel. Following breakfast, your guide will transport you to Pakse Airport for your onwards travel. Depart with lasting memories of Laos, from its ancient temples and breathtaking waterfalls to its vibrant culture and kind people.

Arrival in Luang Prabang
When you arrive at Luang Prabang airport, local guide welcome you and transfer you to your accommodation. Spend the rest of the day during your free time exploring the beautiful city, strolling along the Mekong or relaxing in a bar on the shore of the river.
