Between Charlottenburg Palace and the Gedächtniskirche
Take a tour around Charlottenburg Palace to start your second days like a king or queen. It was first built as a summer palace, but today it is Berlin's most magnificent palace, complete with extensive grounds. As you stroll around the park, which is situated right on the Spree, you'll think that you've been taken back in time to the rococo era and the days of the Prussian kingdom.
Berlin Wall and neighbourhoods
Enjoy a leisurely start on the third day with a traditional Berliner late brunch. When there is a view to match, everything tastes even better. Visit one of the many cafés by the Neuköllner Schifffahrtskanal (Neukölln Ship Canal) or the Landwehr Canal. After that, you can take a stroll by the canal along the Spree River. Unique restaurants, bars, and clubs are waiting for you to visit. Just four places on the island that make up a summertime bar biotope on the left and right of the Flutgraben channel are Freischwimmer, Club der Visionäre, Badeschiff, and IPSE.
Oberbaumbrücke is reached after travelling along Schlesische Street and Falckenstein Street. One of the most breathtaking views of Berlin can be seen from here, looking both in the direction of Alexanderplatz with the TV Tower and the city with the Molecule Men in the Spree. v The East Side Gallery is next to Oberbaumbrücke, stretching out in front of you. The former Berlin Wall's most extended connected section is decorated with a wide variety of breathtaking art pieces. The most well-known picture depicts the fraternal kiss between Honecker and Brezhnev. Along the 1.3-kilometre open-air gallery, plenty of historical events are also portrayed.
Day 1
From Alexanderplatz to the Brandenburg Gate
Start your first day in Berlin at Alexanderplatz's World Clock. Allow the nearby structures to transport you back to the GDR of the 1970s, observe the bustling activity as people pass by, and raise your gaze to the TV Tower, the tour's opening feature, which is located across the S-Bahn railway tracks. With the Berlin WelcomeCard, you can enjoy a fantastic panoramic view of the city from the summit for less money. Enjoy the view while dining at the restaurant sphere rotates at the height of more than 200 metres on its axis.
