It is the oldest area of Vilnius, the capital of Lithuania, is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and is renowned for its meandering cobblestone lanes, charming churches, and antique structures. The picturesque Vilnius old town is famous for gothic, renaissance, baroque, and neoclassical architectural styles, among Europe's best, which coexist here and enhance one another.

Stroll around the Museum of Illusions

In the 600 m2 permanent exhibition, illusions mix with scientific innovations and the arts. Physics and optics are on show alongside enigmatic artwork and age-old puzzles. In addition to 3D art, holograms, mirrors, optical illusion rooms, games, and riddles, there are more than 60 exhibitions to explore. The museum also presents a history-telling LED light show four times each week.

Discover the Bernardine Gardens

The garden, established in 1469 and still accessible in the centre of the Old Town, continues to be a popular location for a pleasant walk. It's nice to relax on a nearby bench and enjoy a game of checkers while listening to the Vilnia River run past. The park's central musical fountain broadcasts songs across the open area.
