Your guide tailors the experience to your interests, taking you on a journey through the best of the region. On the third day of your South African adventure, you wake up excited to explore Cape Town's iconic landmarks. You ascend Table Mountain for breathtaking views of the city, feeling a sense of wonder at the majesty of this natural wonder.
After descending, you embark on a scenic drive along Millionaires Mile to Camps Bay, taking in the charming working harbour at Hout Bay. Later in the morning, you depart Hermanus and stop for a late lunch in the pretty village of Barrydale on scenic "Route 62". Continuing your journey, you arrive at Oudtshoorn, known as the "feather capital of the world", and enjoy a guided tour at an ostrich farm. For the adventurous, this afternoon allows you to attempt the world's highest bungee jump at Bloukrans Bridge (at your own expense and weather permitting). Finally, you arrive in the picturesque village of Storms River late in the afternoon, reflecting on the incredible experiences of the day and feeling grateful for the chance to witness the beauty of South Africa's oceans and wildlife.

On the ninth day of your South African adventure, you immerse yourselves in the splendour and tranquillity of the Tsitsikamma National Park, enjoying stunning views of the Indian Ocean from the Storms River Mouth, weather permitting. As you continue your journey, you head to Gqeberha (Port Elizabeth) for your onward flight to Durban.
Upon arrival in Durban, you are met by your guide and transferred to your accommodation for the evening, located on the tropical North Coast of KwaZulu-Natal. As you settle in and reflect on the journey so far, you feel grateful for the chance to experience the natural beauty of Tsitsikamma National Park and the excitement of exploring different parts of South Africa.

On day ten of your South African journey, you depart from Durban and travel north to the village of St Lucia. Here, you cruise on the St Lucia Estuary, where you can encounter hippos, Nile crocodiles, and abundant birdlife.
After the cruise, you go on an afternoon game drive in Big Five territory, where you spot various wildlife species against a stunning sunset. You wake up early on day eleven of your South African adventure to embark on a morning safari in search of the Big Five while taking in the stunning scenery and embracing the safari experience. After Breakfast, you leave Zululand and cross the border into the tiny Kingdom of eSwatini (Swaziland), ruled by King MsWati III. Your journey takes you to a luxurious lodge in a secure estate, offering breathtaking views of the Royal Mdzimba Mountains.

After Breakfast, visit a chief's village in eSwatini to gain insight into the fascinating traditional Swati culture. The residents invite us to participate in their cultural practices, giving us an authentic experience. Later, cross the border back into South Africa and arrive in the lush Sabie River Valley in the afternoon. Here, you can enjoy the beautiful scenery and relax in our accommodation, ready for more adventures in the days to come.
This day offers a unique opportunity to learn about the local culture and traditions of the Swati people and to immerse ourselves in their way of life. The scenic drive back into South Africa and arrival in the Sabie River Valley provide a peaceful and picturesque setting where we can unwind and take in the beauty of our surroundings.
A Safari Adventure in Kapama Private Game Reserve
From God's Window to the Big Five
After Breakfast, embark on a scenic journey along the Panorama route, stopping to admire the stunning views of God's Window, Bourke's Luck Potholes and Three Rondavels at Blyde River Canyon. The adventure continues at Kapama Private Game Reserve, described as an African Eden. Check-in and head out on an open vehicle safari, led by a ranger and tracker, in search of a diverse range of animal and bird species, including the Big Five: lion, leopard, elephant, rhino and buffalo.

Two Days of Safari Adventure in Mpumalanga, South Africa
The day starts with an early morning safari to spot big game and other captivating smaller species, with bird enthusiasts delighted at the 350 species recorded on the reserve. After returning to the lodge for a few hours of relaxation, the group gathers for high tea before heading out for the afternoon safari. As dusk sets, the nocturnal animals of the bush emerge, with a variety of species spotted on the journey back to the resort at night.
The day is filled with exciting safari activities, including two game drives and delicious meals with Breakfast, lunch, and dinner provided. With a total distance of 90 km travelled, the group can enjoy the beautiful surroundings and breathtaking wildlife in the Mpumalanga region of South Africa.

After enjoying a final early morning open vehicle safari and returning to the lodge for brunch, it's time to say goodbye to the beautiful Mpumalanga region. Upon checking out, you will be transferred to nearby Hoedspruit's Eastgate Airport for your onward flight to Johannesburg. From there, you will board your international flight back to the UK, taking with you unforgettable memories of the stunning natural beauty and wildlife of South Africa.

Although Cape Town is small, it is bursting with life and adventure. You can't wait to explore all the sightseeing attractions, excellent bars, cafes, restaurants, and colourful craft markets waiting for you. As the remainder of the day is at leisure, you can choose how to spend your time. You may take a sightseeing tour to get your bearings and see some of the city's highlights. Or you can relax and enjoy the tranquil surroundings of your guest house, soaking up the warm African sun and taking in the breathtaking views. Whatever you choose, this is just the beginning of an unforgettable adventure in South Africa.
